Coconut Fiber and Cocopeat
Greenville has the enviable capacity of supplying the world a variety of processed coconut
coir products. Seeing the opportunity where the coconut husk as just left in the farms and the
farmers are just throwing it away, the company put up a factory to utilize the coconut husk by
producing the Coconut Fiber, Coconut Peat or Cocopeat, Coconut Husk Chips, Grow bags,
and Coconut Coir Briquettes.
Coconut Peat is a natural organic product and have high water retention capacity to plant
growth. This block is dissolved easily in water and its weight increases by 8 times when water
is added. It does not contain any chemical, it is free from weed and seeds, and has excellent
water holding capacity. Applications of coconut peat are in potting mix, as soil conditioner, for
landscaping, seed raising, as hydroponics medium, in green houses, and as a growing media.
Products produced in its factory range from Coconut Fiber in 120 kilo bales, Coconut Peat in
5 kilo blocks, Coconut Briquettes in 650 grams, Grow Bags, Coconut Husk Chips, and other
coconut related products like Coconut Shell Charcoal.
